AMAG Titanal AL4® ever in the new Fischer RC4 NOIZE
Sustainability meets performance

Skiing is more than just a sport: it’s a state of mind that connects people and nature. Yet, this close relationship with nature presents a question: How can we make modern ski design more environmentally friendly? AMAG Titanal AL4® ever, the latest milestone in the history of AMAG Titanal, provides the perfect answer.
Originally conceived as a revolutionary solution to provide stability and control, AMAG Titanal has evolved considerably over the decades. Not only is it now at the heart of many high-performance skis, the material is also a pioneer of environmental sustainability. Featuring a guaranteed carbon footprint of less than 4 tons of CO₂ per ton of aluminium, AMAG Titanal AL4® ever sets a new standard for sustainable ski technology - without compromising on performance.
Carving new routes together: Fischer Sports and AMAG Titanal AL4® ever
Fischer Sports, one of the world’s leading skiing brands, has a long-standing partnership with AMAG characterized by innovation and sustainability. Fischer has long relied on environmentally friendly aluminium from AMAG. Until now, it has used the sustaina- ble alloy Titanal Green 80 - which contains over 80% recycled material - to manufacture its freeride and touring skis. In the future, Fischer will transition to using the advanced AMAG Titanal AL4® - not only for these ski categories but also for their all-moun- tain and high-performance piste skis in the RC4 product line. This sends a clear message: maximum performance with maximum eco-friendliness.
„At Fischer Sports, we’re proud to produce high-performance skis that meet our customers’ exacting requirements while looking after the environ- ment. AMAG Titanal AL4® ever combines the best of both worlds: maximum stability and top performance for our RC4-NOIZE line along with a clear stride toward sustainable ski production. It’s a material that aligns perfectly with our vision for the future.“

Details of the technology: What AMAG Titanal does in a ski
A modern high-performance ski like the RC4 NOIZE is more than just the sum of its parts: it’s a technical masterpiece - of which AMAG Titanal is an essential part. In the sandwich structure now standard in premium models, AMAG Titanal assumes several vital functions:
-
Precision and control: AMAG Titanal is used as a torsion layer and a base layer, ensuring that forces are optimally distributed. This improves stability and allows skiers to cut precise curves.
-
Torsional stiffness: AMAG Titanal minimizes longitudinal distortion, which provides a perfect edge hold and outstanding comfort.
-
Versatility: Thanks to targeted deployment in different strengths and contours, AMAG Titanal is precisely tailored to the requirements of each ski type.
