While global demand for aluminium is rising sharply - with forecasts predicting current levels to double by 2050 [1] - there are pressing issues to resolve. Can we rely on recycling to satisfy the world’s hunger for aluminium? Or are we on course to lose our valuable resources to the highest bidders from overseas? The following article casts a light on the situation and explains why an urgent rethink is needed.

Decentralized electrification of infrastructure has a decisive role to play in our society’s pursuit of climate neutrality. MAG rolling GmbH recently received the Maintenance Award Austria, underscoring the success of its outstanding maintenance activities. The carbon footprint of a product (CFP) represents the conclusion of an environmental audit of the greenhouse gas emissions generated throughout a product’s life cycle.

coilDNA material coding technology is well-established at AMAG. Selected customers have been receiving coded aluminium sheets for around two years.
